How Recess! works

When you sign up, your child begins with a short orientation to get familiar with the platform and meet their guide.

From there, they join a small virtual squad, a group of kids around the same age who meet regularly to work on projects, tackle challenges, and build skills together under the guidance of a mentor.

Sessions are live and interactive, with kids collaborating over video, voice, and chat. Between sessions, they can share updates, ask questions, and celebrate wins through the Recess community feed.

Every weekday includes a Community Hour, where members from around the world drop in to socialise, showcase their creations, or join themed activities.

Parents also have access to their own dashboard, offering insight into what their children are learning and the connections they’re making.

Recess is designed to make the homeschooling or worldschooling experience more connected, structured, and engaging without adding rigidity or fixed schedules.
